Questions

Is the price fixed?

Yes. Once you've sent us photos or a short video of your home on WhatsApp, we confirm a fixed price in writing. It only changes if the job is different from what was described — for example extra items or no parking near the door.

How much is the deposit?

50% to secure your date. The balance is paid one day before the move.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancel more than 10 working days before your move and you get a full refund. Closer to the date a cancellation charge applies — see our terms. You also have a 14-day cooling-off period.

Do I pay for your return trip?

No. Within the M25 there is no distance charge at all. Outside London the first 25 miles are free, then £2.40 per mile — one way only.

What about damage?

We wrap and protect every item and work with care. Our liability is limited to £40 per item unless a higher value is agreed in writing before the move, so tell us about anything valuable. Please report any damage in writing within 7 days.

Do you disconnect gas cookers?

No. Gas appliances must be disconnected by a Gas Safe registered engineer. We can disconnect and reconnect washing machines and electric appliances that simply plug in.

What isn't included?

Gas appliances, flat-pack furniture you have dismantled yourself, lofts without light and safe access, garden sheds and outdoor items, and waste removal. Waits over 30 minutes and carries over 20 m from the van are charged separately. We'll always tell you in advance.

Is there an hourly option?

Yes, for small moves: £75 per hour for 2 movers and a van, minimum 2 hours.
